I was looking out at friend of mines' home office window yesterday, and after I saw "it" ride by, I simply said "No.".
My friend Dru asked me what I saw, this is what I described...
A twentyish man, riding his bicycle, no hands on the steering wheel, text messaging on his phone while riding through an intersection and running a stop sign-of course "he had no helmet on" Dru added.
My wife asked me how I knew he was text messaging when I told her about the sighting. It was obvious because he was using the two thumb technique that I have never seen utilized while dialing a phone number.
What are we coming to? I can only take comfort that like the pot head who wastes his life away all day in front of the TV, he was only risking his own life, unlike the person driving in the car while texting (who is no better than a pothead driving).
Unless of course he hits a pedestrian or an animal.
